They started seeing each other in June 2025, beginning as friends and always playing hard to get. By the beginning of December, Lauren had moved in with Elizabeth, and their story had only just begun. Forever inseparable, they motivated each other along the way. Lauren and Elizabeth got their first apartment together in February 2026, creating a million unforgettable memories. Elizabeth’s son Jude quickly became glued to Lauren and has never been too far from her hip. They have become the biggest stepmom-and-son power duo! They do everything together, from playing music and headbanging in the living room to talking about monster trucks and dirt bikes, reading together, playing catch outside, and always laughing. Elizabeth and Lauren’s shared love and passion for music were always a plus. In May 2026, Lauren got weekend tickets for Sonic Temple. At that point, Elizabeth developed a plan that almost everyone knew about because she can never hold onto a surprise. She reached out to the lead singer of a heavy metal band called Kublai Kahn, which was going to be on the lineup for the festival. When he responded, the plan was in full swing. Elizabeth was going to receive a guitar string played during their performance and create her wedding band out of it. She also reached out to another band and received a drumstick from Knocked Loose, which is also incorporated into the ring. They sent it in the mail since the band was only performing overseas at the time. When Elizabeth met up with Matt Honeycut and was gifted the string, she couldn’t contain herself any longer. She proposed to Lauren with the guitar string at Sonic Temple on May 15, 2026. Talk about UHAUL lesbians!
